Find the message or situation that matches yours.
1. You forgot your password
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?.
- Enter your email address and click Send Reset Link.
- Open the email titled "Reset your password" and click Reset Password.
The reset link expires 10 minutes after it's sent. If it has expired, request a new one. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
2. "Please verify your email address before logging in"
Your account isn't verified yet. When you see this message, Qubit sends the verification email again. Open it and click Verify Email, then sign in. See Sign in and first steps.
3. "Too many failed sign-in attempts"
After several wrong passwords in a row, Qubit locks sign-in for that account for a few minutes. The message tells you how long to wait. Wait, then try again, or reset your password.
4. Signing in with Google or Microsoft fails
- Click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft. Don't type the email address into the password form if you signed up with Google or Microsoft.
- Check which Google or Microsoft account your browser is signed in to. It should be the one you use for Qubit.
- If Qubit says the account exists but isn't linked, sign in with your email and password first.
- If no Qubit account exists for that email address, Qubit opens the sign-up form so you can create one.
5. You lost access to your authenticator app
When two-factor authentication is on, Qubit asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app after your password. The codes only come from the app. Qubit doesn't send them by email or text message.
If you no longer have the app, you can't complete sign-in yourself. Contacting support from the email address on your account.
6. You're asked to set up two-factor authentication
If you see 2FA Required, your workspace admin requires every member to use two-factor authentication. Click Set up 2FA and follow the steps with an authenticator app.
7. You see "Access Restricted" after signing in
Your workspace admin has limited access to certain IP addresses, and your current address isn't on the list. Connect from an approved network, such as your office network or company VPN, or ask your admin to update the list. See Workspace security.
