Managing insights with the assistant
Insights are findings that Qubit produces by reviewing the charts on your workspace's dashboards. Qubit looks for changes and connections between the numbers and writes up what it notices, often with a recommended action. Insights are refreshed every day, and you can refresh them on request.
The assistant can read, refresh, and dismiss insights for you.
Ask about current insights
"What are the most important insights this week?" "Summarize the critical insights about revenue."
The assistant reads the workspace's active insights and explains them.
Investigate one insight
On Home or the Insights page, open an insight and click Ask about this. The assistant opens with the insight's title, finding, and recommendation written into the message box, followed by a request to dig deeper. Add your own question and send it.
You can then ask follow-up questions, for example:
- "Did this happen in every region or only one?"
- "Which products account for most of the drop?"
Refresh or dismiss insights
"Refresh the insights for this workspace." "Dismiss the insight about weekend traffic."
A refresh runs the analysis again with your latest dashboard data. Dismissing removes an insight from the list. You can also click Dismiss insight on the insight itself.
Get alerted when a metric crosses a value
Insights don't have per-metric thresholds. To watch a specific number, ask the assistant to draft a scheduled task that checks a metric and then sends an email alert or creates an insight:
"Check our conversion rate every day and email me if it drops below 2.5%."
The task is saved as a draft for you to review and activate. See Creating a scheduled task.
