Apache Doris
Connect an Apache Doris database through its MySQL-compatible query port. Qubit copies the database's tables on a schedule.
Before you start
- Create a Doris user for Qubit with read access to the database you want to use.
- Note the frontend (FE) host and its query port. The default query port is
9030. - Make sure the query port accepts connections from Qubit's servers.
Connect Apache Doris
- Open Data Catalog from the sidebar, click Add Data, then choose Connect a database.
- On the New Data Source page, click Apache Doris. It is under Databases.
- Enter a Connection Name.
- Fill in the connection details:
- Host: the frontend host.
- Query port (MySQL protocol): defaults to
9030. - Database: the database to read.
- Username: the user you created.
- Password: optional, for users without a password.
- Choose a Sync Schedule. The default is Daily.
- Click Create.
After you connect
Qubit checks that the required fields are filled in, saves the connection, and starts the first sync. It confirms that it can reach Doris during that sync.
To check the connection at any time, open its menu in the Data Catalog and choose Test connection. If Last sync shows Failed, hover over it to see the reason, correct the details with Edit, then choose Sync now.
