What Insights does
Insights are short findings that Qubit writes about the charts on your dashboards. Each one states what stands out, with the numbers behind it, and often suggests a next step. Qubit looks for them automatically. You don't choose metrics or write rules.
Where insights come from
Qubit finds insights in two ways. Both kinds appear in the same list.
AI writes each insight's title, finding, and recommended action in English and Arabic, based on the stored results of your charts.
Across your workspace
Once a day, Qubit reviews the latest values and recent changes of the charts on your workspace's dashboards. It looks for patterns that no single chart shows on its own, such as two metrics moving in opposite directions, or most of your revenue coming from a few customers. Each of these insights cites at least two charts. Before Qubit states that two metrics move together, it tests the relationship statistically using up to 90 days of daily history from each chart. Owners and admins can also start this review at any time with Refresh on the Insights page.
From a single chart
Each time a chart refreshes and returns data, Qubit compares its latest value with the chart's recent history. When the change is large enough to matter, Qubit writes an insight that explains it. If the chart splits the number by a category, such as region or product, the insight can name the segment with the largest share. Charts with little history skip this comparison, so a new chart can produce insights from its first runs.
Where you see them
- The Insights page in the sidebar lists every active insight. See Reading an insight card.
- The Home page shows the newest three under Recent insights.
- On a dashboard, each chart that an insight cites shows a lightbulb badge.
What Qubit needs
- At least one dashboard with charts. Insights that span your workspace need at least two charts with results.
- If none of your charts has run yet, Qubit runs them in the background and then tries again.
- Insights is not included in every plan. If your plan doesn't include it, the Insights page shows an upgrade message instead of the list.
- The daily review uses your workspace's AI credits. When the credits are used up, the review is skipped until they renew.
