Personal agent settings

The Agent section of your account settings tells the Assistant about your role and controls what it can change for you. These settings belong to you and apply in every workspace you use. Company-wide context is set separately by owners and admins. See Workspace AI agent.

Personalize your agent

If you have not set up your agent yet, the section shows Your agent isn't personalized yet.

  1. Click Personalize my agent.
  2. Under Your role, enter your Job title and, if you like, your department.
  3. Under Your company, enter the Company name and, if you like, the company website. If the workspace already has company context, Qubit does not ask for it again.
  4. Wait while Qubit personalizes your agent. It drafts instructions for your role and suggests a few questions you might ask.
  5. Click Start exploring.

Assistant profile

After setup, Assistant profile shows the Role and Company the Assistant uses, and when they were last updated. If your role or company changes, click Update profile and go through the setup again.

Agent instructions

Agent instructions holds the text that tells the Assistant how to work with you. Qubit drafts it during setup, and you can edit it. For example:

  • "Start each answer with a one-line summary."
  • "Show amounts in thousands of riyals."
  • "I manage the Riyadh branches, so compare them first."

Click Save Changes to keep your edits.

Regenerate reads your company profile again and writes new instructions. It replaces your current text, including your edits, so Qubit asks you to confirm first.

What the assistant can change

What the assistant can change lists the areas where the Assistant can create or edit work for you:

  • Dashboards
  • Reports
  • Metrics & semantic model
  • Insights
  • Scheduled tasks
  • Data sources

Each area has a switch, and all are on by default. Turn one off and the Assistant stops creating or editing in that area on your behalf. These switches apply to your Assistant in every workspace.

The Assistant can still read and explain data you have access to. Sharing, activating schedules, deleting, and connection credentials stay under your control in the product. See Capability toggles for details.
