Airtable
Connect an Airtable base with a personal access token. Qubit syncs the records in the base's tables on a schedule.
Before you start
Create a personal access token in Airtable's developer hub:
- Give it the
data.records:readandschema.bases:readscopes. - Under Access, add the base you want to sync.
- Copy the token. Airtable shows it only once.
Then find the base ID: open the base in your browser. The ID is the part of the address that starts with app.
Connect Airtable
- Open Data Catalog from the sidebar, click Add Data, then choose Connect a database.
- On the New Data Source page, click Airtable. It is under SaaS Apps.
- Enter a Connection Name.
- Fill in the fields:
- Personal Access Token: the token you created.
- Base ID: the ID starting with
app. - Table Name: optional. Leave it empty to sync every table in the base.
- Choose a Sync Schedule. The default is Daily.
- Click Create.
After you connect
Qubit checks that the required fields are filled in, saves the connection, and starts the first sync. It confirms that the token works during that sync.
To check the connection at any time, open its menu in the Data Catalog and choose Test connection. If Last sync shows Failed, hover over it to see the reason, correct the details with Edit, then choose Sync now. A common cause is a token that does not have the base added under Access.
