Stripe
Connect your Stripe account with its secret key. Qubit syncs your payment and subscription data on a schedule.
Before you start
- In the Stripe Dashboard, open Developers, then API keys, and copy the secret key. It starts with
sk_. Use the live key for real data; a test key (sk_test_) syncs test-mode data. - If you run a Stripe Connect platform and want to sync one connected account instead of your own, note that account's ID. It starts with
acct_.
Connect Stripe
- Open Data Catalog from the sidebar, click Add Data, then choose Connect a database.
- On the New Data Source page, click Stripe. It is under SaaS Apps.
- Enter a Connection Name.
- Fill in the fields:
- Connected account ID: optional. Enter a Stripe Connect connected account ID (
acct_...) only if you run a Connect platform and want to sync that account. Leave it empty to sync your own account. - Secret Key: your Stripe secret key, starting with
sk_. - Start Date: data is synced from this date. It defaults to 30 days ago; earlier dates sync more history and take longer.
- Connected account ID: optional. Enter a Stripe Connect connected account ID (
- Choose a Sync Schedule. The default is Daily.
- Click Create.
After you connect
Qubit checks that the required fields are filled in, saves the connection, and starts the first sync. It confirms that the key works during that sync.
To check the connection at any time, open its menu in the Data Catalog and choose Test connection. If Last sync shows Failed, hover over it to see the reason, correct the details with Edit, then choose Sync now.
