Creating a report

You can create a report from the Reports page or by asking the Assistant. Both start the same generation process, which runs in the background.

From the Reports page

  1. Open Reports in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Report.
  3. In What do you want in the report?, describe the report in at least 10 characters (2,000 at most).
  4. Optional: set Period Start (optional) and Period End (optional). Leave both empty to analyze all available data.
  5. Choose the Language: English, Arabic, or Both.
  6. Click Generate Report.

The report appears in the list as Pending and moves to Generating. Until it finishes, the list shows your request in place of a title.

From the Assistant

Click New analysis and ask for a report in your own words. Mention the period and the language if they matter. The Assistant turns your request into a brief and starts the report. A card in the chat shows its progress, and View Status opens the Reports page.

If the Assistant does not create the report, check that Reports is turned on under What the assistant can change. See Capability toggles and Creating a report with the Assistant.

Open the finished report

When the status is Completed, click the row to open the slides. You can also use the icons in the Files column. Each opens a menu with View and Download.

In the slides viewer, move between slides with the arrow buttons or the arrow keys. Click Present to show the deck full screen, and press Esc to leave.

Edit the slides

Click Edit Slides in the viewer. Your changes save automatically. Click Done Editing when you finish.

  • Click text on a slide to change it.
  • Use the toolbar to Add Slide, Duplicate slide, Delete Slide, Move Up, Move Down, Undo, and Redo. Add Slide offers blank, text, metrics, chart, and insights slides.
  • Type an instruction in the box under the slide to have AI change the current slide or the whole deck, for example "Shorten the summary on this slide". The changes it made are listed under the box.
  • Click Polish, Fix layout, or Simplify to apply that change to the current slide.
  • Click Fact Check to check the claims on the current slide against your data. Each claim is marked as verified, approximately correct, incorrect, or unverifiable, with the correct value when Qubit finds one.

If an edit leaves more content on a slide than fits, Qubit keeps the change in the editor without saving it. Split the content across more slides, then click Retry save.
