Home
Home is the page you see after you sign in. It brings back the work you touched most recently and shows the latest insights for your workspace.
Getting started
At the top, Home greets you by name and shows the name of the current workspace.
If the workspace doesn't have any saved work yet, Home shows a Start with your data card with two options:
- Connect your data opens the Data Catalog so you can add your first data source.
- Help me get started opens the assistant with a setup request already written for you.
Continue where you left off
Once you have saved work, Home shows the item you most recently updated in a large card under the greeting. It shows the item's name, its type, its status when it has one, and the date it was last edited. Click it to open the item.
Recent work
The Recent work section lists up to five recent items, newest first. It includes:
- Dashboards
- Reports, with their status, such as In progress or Ready
- Scheduled tasks, with their status, such as Draft, Active, or Paused
- Analyses, which are your conversations with the assistant
Two controls change what the list shows:
- My work and Workspace switch between items you created and items your teammates created.
- The type menu shows All work or a single type: Dashboard, Report, Scheduled task, or Analysis.
Recent insights
If your plan includes Insights, Home also shows up to three of the newest insights under Recent insights.
- Click an insight to open its details: the finding, the Recommended action when there is one, and the Sources, which are the charts the insight is based on.
- In the details, click Ask about this to open the assistant with the insight written into a question, or Dismiss insight to remove an insight you no longer need.
- Click View all insights to open the Insights page.
