Creating a report with the assistant
A report in Qubit is a slide deck that Qubit writes from your data. You can ask the assistant to request one for you and to edit the slides of a report you already have.
Ask for a report
- Open the assistant and start a New conversation.
- Describe what the report should cover. You can also mention the period it covers and the language: English, Arabic, or both.
Example:
"Create a report on last quarter's sales performance with an executive summary, sales by product category, and the main takeaways. Write it in Arabic and English."
The assistant sends the request and adds a card with the report's title. Qubit writes the report in the background. Click View Status to open Reports and follow its progress. In Reports, its status moves from Pending or Generating to Completed. On Home, it shows In progress and then Ready.
Work with the finished report
When the report is ready, open it from Reports. From there you can:
- Download it as PowerPoint or Excel.
- Click Edit Slides to change slides yourself, or use AI Edit to describe a change.
You can also ask the assistant to edit an existing report's slides, for example "Make the executive summary shorter" or "Add a slide about returns." See Reports.
Report or dashboard?
- Choose a dashboard when people need to filter, refresh, and explore the numbers over time.
- Choose a report when you need a written summary to download, present, or send.
