Workspace AI agent

The Assistant answers questions about your data. It gives better answers when it knows what your company does. Owners and admins describe the company once, in the Agent tab of the workspace settings, and Qubit uses that description for everyone in the workspace.

Where to find it

  1. Click Account at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Choose Settings to open the workspace settings.
  3. Under Workspace, select Agent.

Everyone in the workspace can open this tab. Only owners and admins can generate or save the context.

What the workspace context is used for

Qubit adds the saved context to the Assistant's instructions for every member of the workspace. It is also used when Qubit generates dashboards and reports, and when the Assistant answers questions in Slack.

Two layers of context

The Assistant can receive two pieces of context:

  1. Organization context, set in the workspace Agent tab. It describes the company: what it does, its market, and the terms your team uses. It applies to everyone in the workspace. See Organization context.
  2. Personal agent settings, set by each person under Account Settings in the Agent tab. They describe that person's role and preferences, and they follow the person across workspaces. See Personal agent settings.

Qubit sends both to the Assistant, labeled as organization context and user context. Neither one overrides the other, so keep company facts in the workspace context and role preferences in personal settings.
