Qubit Docs العربية

Starting a conversation

The assistant is available on every page in Qubit. It opens in a panel beside the page, so you can keep looking at a dashboard or a task while you talk to it.

Open the assistant

Click the round assistant button in the bottom corner of the page. The panel opens with the title Assistant.

If the conversation is empty, the panel shows What can I help you work on? and a few Example requests. The examples change with the page you're on. Click one to put it in the message box, then edit it or send it as is.

Type your question in the box that says Ask about your data... and press Enter.

Start from something on screen

Some pages open the assistant with a question already written for you:

  • On a dashboard, click Ask about this chart on any chart. The assistant opens with a request that names the chart and the dashboard.
  • On an insight, click Ask about this. The assistant opens with the insight's title, finding, and recommendation.
  • On Home, in a new workspace, click Help me get started.

In each case the text goes into the message box. Nothing is sent until you press Enter, so you can change it first.

See Context-aware assistant for how the assistant uses the page you're on.

Attach files

Click Attach files to add files to your message. You can attach images, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF, or text files: up to 5 files, with a limit of 4 MB per document or image and 100 KB per text file.

Start a new conversation

Click New conversation in the panel header. Use it when you change topic. Follow-up questions in the same conversation build on the earlier messages, so an unrelated question can be misread if you ask it in an old thread.

Find past conversations

Every conversation is saved. To return to one:

  • Click Conversation history in the panel header. The Conversations list groups them by date. You can search them, open one, or delete one.
  • On Home, set the type menu under Recent work to Analysis.
