Amplitude
Connect an Amplitude project with its API key and secret key. Qubit exports the project's raw events from the date you choose, on a schedule.
Before you start
- In Amplitude, open Settings, then Projects, then your project. On the General tab, copy the API key and the secret key listed below it.
- Check where your project is hosted. Projects in Amplitude's EU data center need a different API host.
Connect Amplitude
- Open Data Catalog from the sidebar, click Add Data, then choose Connect a database.
- On the New Data Source page, click Amplitude. It is under SaaS Apps.
- Enter a Connection Name.
- Fill in the fields:
- API Key and Secret Key: from your project's General tab.
- Export events since: events are exported from this date. It defaults to 30 days ago.
- API host: only for EU-hosted projects. Enter
https://analytics.eu.amplitude.com. Leave it empty for the US data center.
- Choose a Sync Schedule. The default is Daily.
- Click Create.
After you connect
Qubit checks that the required fields are filled in, saves the connection, and starts the first sync. It confirms that the keys work during that sync. If the keys are wrong, the sync fails and shows the reason.
To check the connection at any time, open its menu in the Data Catalog and choose Test connection. If Last sync shows Failed, hover over it to see the reason, correct the details with Edit, then choose Sync now.
