Zid

Connect your Zid store through the Zid AI Connector app. Qubit syncs your orders, products, and customers on a schedule.

Before you start

  • Only workspace owners and admins can connect a Zid store.
  • In Zid, install the Zid AI Connector app, open it, and copy its MCP Server URL. It starts with https://zam-mcp-server.zid.sa/mcp/. Treat this URL like a password: anyone who has it can read your store data.
  • Find your store number. It is the number shown in your Zid dashboard address.
  • The store needs at least one product or order. Qubit uses it to confirm that the URL belongs to the store number you enter.

Connect Zid

  1. Open Data Catalog from the sidebar, click Add Data, then choose Connect a database.
  2. On the New Data Source page, click Zid. It is under E-commerce & POS.
  3. Enter a Connection Name, for example "Main Zid store".
  4. Fill in the fields:
    • Zid store number: your store number.
    • MCP Server URL: the URL you copied from Zid AI Connector.
  5. Choose a Sync Schedule. The default is Daily.
  6. Click Create.

Before saving, Qubit checks that the URL is a Zid MCP Server URL and that it belongs to the store number you entered. If either check fails, the connection is not created.

After you connect

Qubit starts the first sync and takes you to the Data Catalog. Orders, products, and customers appear when the sync completes.

Qubit also adds your Zid orders to a shared connection named Store Sales, which combines the orders from your connected stores.

To replace the MCP Server URL later, for example after reinstalling the app, open the connection's menu, choose Edit, and paste the new URL. Leave the field blank to keep the current one. The store number cannot change; to sync a different store, create a separate connection.
