Data residency

Where your data is stored and processed depends on how Qubit is deployed for your organization and on your agreement with Qubit. If your organization has a residency requirement, confirm the location for your deployment with Qubit before you connect sensitive data.

What the Privacy Policy says

Qubit's Privacy Policy, published on qubit.sa, states that:

  • Qubit is operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Qubit processes personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.
  • Qubit and its service providers may process data in countries other than your own. When personal data collected in Saudi Arabia is transferred outside the Kingdom, Qubit does so only on the grounds the PDPL and its regulations permit, and transfers no more than the processing requires.

The Privacy Policy is the authoritative statement. If anything on this page differs from it, the Privacy Policy applies.

AI processing

When you use the Assistant or other AI features, your request and the data needed to answer it are sent to the language model that powers the feature. Take this into account when you assess where your data is processed. See What the AI can and cannot access.

Control what is connected and queried

You decide which sources to connect to Qubit. Data permissions and row restrictions then limit which tables and records each member can query, including through the Assistant. See Access Control.
