Report templates and branding
You don't pick a template when you create a report. Every report in a workspace uses the workspace brand, which you set in Brand Studio. The brand includes the template, which sets the visual composition of the slides.
Open Brand Studio
- Open the workspace settings and select the Branding tab.
- Click Open Brand Studio.
The New Report dialog also links to Open Brand Studio. Saving brand changes needs the Owner or Admin role by default. If the Branding tab is locked, your plan does not include custom branding.
What you can set
Turn on Apply brand to reports and dashboard to use your brand. When it is off, reports use the default Qubit design.
- Logo: shown on the report cover and closing slide. PNG, JPG, or WebP, up to 5 MB.
- Colors: Primary, Secondary, and Background, plus a Chart palette for chart series.
- Typography: the main font, and an optional display face for slide titles and key figures. Most display faces don't include Arabic, so Arabic text stays on the main font.
- Template: Qubit, Grid, Signal, Editorial, or Contour.
- Names & taglines: Organization name, Slide footer, and a closing tagline in English and in Arabic.
The preview in Brand Studio shows how generated reports will look. Click Save Changes to keep your edits.
When brand changes apply
A report keeps the brand it was generated with. Brand changes apply to reports you create afterwards. Existing reports keep their original look in Qubit and when you download them again.
Slide format
Every report is a widescreen 16:9 deck. Reports in Arabic display right to left, even when you use Qubit in English.
