Chargebee
Connect a Chargebee site with an API key. Qubit syncs your subscription billing data on a schedule.
Before you start
- In Chargebee, open Settings, then Configure Chargebee, then API Keys, and create or copy an API key. You can use a read-only key, since Qubit only reads data.
- Note your site name: the subdomain of your Chargebee address. For
acme.chargebee.com, the site name isacme. A test site keeps its-testsuffix, for exampleacme-test.
Connect Chargebee
- Open Data Catalog from the sidebar, click Add Data, then choose Connect a database.
- On the New Data Source page, click Chargebee. It is under SaaS Apps.
- Enter a Connection Name.
- Fill in the fields:
- API Key: the key you copied.
- Site Name: the subdomain only.
- Start Date: data is synced from this date. Defaults to January 1, 2022.
- Choose a Sync Schedule. The default is Daily.
- Click Create.
After you connect
Qubit checks that the required fields are filled in, saves the connection, and starts the first sync. It confirms that the key works during that sync.
To check the connection at any time, open its menu in the Data Catalog and choose Test connection. If Last sync shows Failed, hover over it to see the reason, correct the details with Edit, then choose Sync now.
