Qubit Docs العربية

Navigating the platform

On a computer, Qubit's main navigation is a narrow sidebar on the side of the screen. Each item has an icon and a short label. The assistant opens in its own panel beside the page you're on.

The sidebar

The sidebar has two groups.

The first group covers your everyday work:

  • Home: your recent work and the latest insights. See Home.
  • Dashboards: all dashboards you can access. See Dashboards.
  • Reports: slide-deck reports that Qubit writes from your data. See Reports.
  • Metrics: the shared definitions of your key numbers. See Metrics.
  • Insights: findings Qubit has noticed across your dashboards. See Insights.

The second group covers automation and data:

  • Tasks: your scheduled tasks and the builder you use to create them. The page title is Scheduled Tasks. See Scheduled tasks.
  • Catalog: the Data Catalog, where you connect data sources, upload files, add documents, and open the semantic model. See Data Catalog.

On plans that include it, a Location Intelligence shortcut appears below these items.

The account menu

At the bottom of the sidebar, click Account to open the account menu. From there you can:

  • Switch to another workspace under Workspaces, or click Create workspace.
  • Open Account Settings for your profile, security, preferences, and assistant settings.
  • Open Settings for the current workspace, including members, billing, and integrations.
  • Switch between light and dark mode.
  • Click Sign Out.

The assistant

To open the assistant, click the round assistant button in the bottom corner of any page. The panel shows example requests that match the page you're on. You can resize the panel by dragging its edge, and close it with the button in its header.

See What the Assistant does to get started.

On a phone

On small screens, the sidebar is replaced by a bar at the bottom of the screen with Home, Dashboards, Reports, Metrics, and Account. Open Account to reach Insights, Tasks, the Data Catalog, your workspaces, and settings.
